Our jewellery return exchange policy at Taparia Jewels, Jaipur applies to all purchases made directly through our showroom, WhatsApp consultations, or website enquiries. Every piece we create is handcrafted individually by master karigars at our C-Scheme workshop. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

No Cash Refunds — Credit Note Policy

Taparia Jewels does not offer cash refunds under any circumstances. This approach protects the integrity of handcrafted fine jewellery valued at precious metal and gemstone rates. All eligible resolutions come in the form of a Taparia Jewels Credit Note. You can redeem this credit note against any future purchase at our C-Scheme showroom.

When We Accept Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery in these specific situations only. First, we accept your piece if it has a confirmed manufacturing defect. Additionally, our quality team verifies all defect claims upon receipt of the returned item. Second, we accept your piece if it differs materially from the agreed design or gemstone specification confirmed in writing. Third, we accept your piece if transit damage is clearly visible and you share an unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery.

We do not accept pieces that show signs of wear, alteration, resizing, or post-delivery damage.

How We Calculate Your Credit Note

We calculate your credit note value using the following method. To begin with, the gold component receives current market rate valuation on the date of return, based on net gold weight at the prevailing 18K or 14K MCX rate. In addition, making charges, karigar labour, and all setting costs receive full deduction with no recovery. Moreover, GST and all taxes paid at purchase receive full deduction. Finally, gemstones including Polki diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and tanzanite receive 70% of their original invoice value — reflecting a standard 30% deduction for resetting costs and market adjustment.

Your credit note is non-transferable and non-encashable. You can only redeem it against a new Taparia Jewels purchase at our Jaipur showroom.

Jewellery Exchange Policy Jaipur

We welcome exchange of your existing Taparia Jewels piece at any time by prior appointment. Exchange visits are available at our C-Scheme showroom. We calculate exchange value using the same method described above. The exchange credit applies entirely against your new piece from our current collection. We do not offer cash against exchange under any circumstances.

Custom and Bespoke Orders

Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable advance at design confirmation. This advance covers gemstone procurement, karigar allocation, and gold casting. Once production begins, cancellation is not possible. You may request design modifications before casting begins, subject to mutual written agreement. We collect the remaining 50% balance upon completion, before dispatch or collection.

Cancellation Before Production

You may cancel your order before production begins. However, the advance payment remains non-refundable in all cases. Therefore, once production starts or dispatch occurs, cancellation is not possible under any circumstances.

Items Not Eligible For Return

We do not accept the following items for return or exchange. Personalised or engraved pieces are not eligible under any circumstances. Furthermore, any item altered or resized by a jeweller other than Taparia Jewels cannot be accepted. Similarly, items returned without original packaging, certificates, or invoice will be rejected. Finally, any piece showing post-delivery wear, damage, or signs of use will not qualify for return.

Mandatory Unboxing Video

We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video for every delivery. This video is mandatory for all transit damage claims and protects your interests completely.
